Who We Are
KV Connect is a private, internal business-management application operated by Kennedy Venture Capital, LLC ("Kennedy Ventures," "we," "us") of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and used by its affiliated companies, including Kennedy Home Renovation, LLC and Kennedy Property Services, LLC. The application is not offered for sale or general public use; access is limited to Kennedy Ventures staff, contractors, property owners, and business partners who are invited to use it.
Information We Collect
KV Connect stores business records created in the course of our operations: company and entity records, property and project information, vendor and contractor profiles (including onboarding documents such as W-9s, licenses, and insurance certificates), employee work records, maintenance and renovation activity, receipts and financial documents, and contact information (name, email address, phone number, and mailing address) for the people involved in that work.
QuickBooks and Intuit Data
With authorization from our company administrator, KV Connect connects to Intuit QuickBooks Online through Intuit's official APIs to read and write accounting records (such as invoices, expenses, and financial reports) belonging to Kennedy Ventures' own companies. QuickBooks data is used solely for our internal bookkeeping, billing, and financial reporting. We do not sell, rent, or share QuickBooks data with third parties, and we access only the company files that belong to our own affiliated entities. QuickBooks connections can be revoked at any time from within the application or from Intuit's My Apps page.
How We Use Information
Information in KV Connect is used to run our business: coordinating renovation and maintenance work, managing rental properties, paying vendors and contractors, producing owner statements and financial reports, maintaining tax and compliance records, and communicating with the people we work with. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that host or support the application (such as Base44, our hosting platform, and Intuit, our accounting provider), with professional advisors such as our accountants when needed for tax or financial work, and where required by law. Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Security and Retention
Access to KV Connect requires an authorized account, and roles limit what each user can see. Connections to third-party services use industry-standard OAuth authorization; credentials and tokens are stored as protected secrets, never in application code. We retain business records for as long as they are needed for operations, accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
